There aren't enough stars available for this place!!!! 1000% incredible. The atmosphere is exactly where I want to be, 100% patriotic. The restaurant is clean, the staff are friendly, speedy and accurate! (My server, Lillie, was truly the best of the best in any restaurant setting in the world) Now the food....i have traveled the world for 37yrs and this food is on point to anywhere I've been. Fresh, fast and delish! The fries are amazing. The dry rub wings will please even the most demanding wing-man and the cannonballs (some are missing from the pic because i was nibbling) have just the right amount of flavor!! This place can't be beat!
First time at this establishment and had a great time. We had the wings and they were some of the best I ever had. We also got burgers and they were excellent. They didn't have any lighter beer on their draft list but that wasn't a big deal. We are definitely going to go back.
Came in tonight with my wife to have a drink and dinner, after she suggested going after seeing what was offered on the special features for the weekend. Met with fantastic service as usual, we started off with two of the special drinks (she had the Tipsy Reindeer, I had the Nuts and Berries) which were fantastic. Then our Alamo Cannon Balls appetizer came out shortly after, which were also great. After that, our entrees showed up. She had the one meat platter with chicken, mashed potatoes and mac and cheese, which she enjoyed as usual. This is where things change: I tried the Beef Ramen bowl from the special features for the weekend. This thing should be on the menu PERMANENTLY. It's that good. A decent solid spice level all the way through, the veggies and beef and noodles and broth were all cooked perfectly, and it had all the right seasonings. When our waitress Sam came out to check on us after our food arrived, I mentioned this to her and she relayed it to the chef, who then came out to say thanks. During a quick chat with Stevie, he told me he's been trying to do things to bring new and better things to the menu. And I have to agree with him, while the menu there isn't bad by any means, it hasn't really changed much, and could do with a few additions to it, such as this Beef Ramen bowl. Overall, we had a fantastic dinner with fantastic service, as usual, and we look forward to coming back again soon!
My friend gave me a choice of where to eat. I asked him where HE wanted to go, he had named 5 nice choices, and he picked this one. I was unfamiliar with this place. He made a great choice. Not part of a chain and run by experienced owners, very well managed. We got here at 12:30 pm on a Sunday, and they were packed. Still we received quick service from our waitress and from the kitchen. The menu is loaded with options - I found 4 things that interested me. I went with the chicken &waffles. It was a good choice, it was not just a massive plate that some places throw at you, but you got mashed potatoes and corn with it. (about $12). One of our party got the pulled pork- and she really liked it. As we were eating the place really thinned out. We had gotten there at the end of the rush. We were able to eat and converse and the room was not noisy. I recommend getting there at about 1 pm for the best experience. They have a bar and a nice beer list too. Our waitress was great.
This was our second time here, and definitely won't be our last. We arrived at a busy time, but they were kind enough to let us wait on the back deck. Alexis took great care of us, and was accommodating, friendly, and helpful. She explained that the wait was due to a shortage of kitchen staff, but our food came very quickly after we ordered. The Baja tacos were amazing and the brisket sandwich was great too.
Love the "cannonballs" appetizer, had a refreshing berry cocktail...loved the house salad with their homemade ranch dressing and the brownie dessert Ala mode was very sweet, very rich but very good. Food was great, server was good. She was very friendly and helpful but she didnt offer to refill the coffee I had with my dessert. Overall a great place to eat! Congratulations to the new owner, Mindy!
Food was served hot & was delicious. I had the Trio Platter, which included shredded chicken, shredded pork, & brisket. Hubby had Boneless Wings with the Spicy Garlic Parmesan sauce. The mac 'n cheese was amazing, & the cornbread was moist & delicious. The Ranch Beans were good too. Service was excellent & our server was very attentive. Highly recommend!
We stopped here for a quick dinner on our way to Hershey for a concert. We were seated right away. We ordered the Loaded Perogies, wings, and a burger. Service was quick, the food was delicious and the staff was friendly and on point. Thank you for a great dinner!
